that you live in a country where clubs supporters are at least thought of by the powers that be.
The NFL has just announced that St Louis Rams have played their last game in St Louis. They have moved the team back to Los Angeles as from next season. No thought given to those who have supported the Rams in St Louis for all these years.
On top of that, San Diego Chargers have been given an option for the following season to re-locate to Los Angeles. If they turn this down then the same offer will be made to the Oakland Raiders. Again, stuff you supporters.
Can you imagine a Premier League team being told they were to move lock stock and barrel to Spain or Germany and still play in the Premier League? Just imagine the uproar.
Think yourself lucky

That is so messed up, what do the locals usually do when this happens?
Stick with their team or pick a new team closer to home?
The only one I can think of is MK dons, were from what I can tell the fanbase mostly abandoned the club.

It's brutal. American football just seems so tacky, it's like the cheese you get in them plastic packets at the burger vans, Football however is real mature cheddar that everyone loves and occasionally gives you the sh#ts

NY, when I came to the USA I quickly realized professional sport is more about "the money" than even European football. Moving teams just blew me away. On the Left Coast there were almost riots is Seattle when the Sonics NBA team was moved, and I can imagine what would happen if they tried to move the Portland Timbers. For such a "small commercial market" as Portland (a metro area of only about one million!), we are lucky to have three major league teams, the Blazers, Timbers and Thorns - although many Americans would not call the latter two "major". Long live "o jogo bonito".

I think you'll find out its the owners and not the NFL that let things like this happen.

The point I am making is that there is no consideration given to the supporters of these clubs. It's all down to money. It makes you wonder why people want to associate with such greed mongers.
