Well finally a victory and although it wasn't pretty, a win is a win. The game was not a good one with few chances but i think we shaded it and deserved the 3 points. I couldn't fault the effort from the players but we still look short up top although Kozak put a good shift in. Our overall play was good but you can still see a huge struggle in the final 3rd creating chances and that's what must be addressed. At least their was passion shown and lately there has not been much of that so a slight improvement ....

What you need is some wins in the coming weeks and you never know what will happen.

We're short up top but the performance overall was one which can get results. Hope Garde can get them doing that week after week.
What do you reckon to a Benteke loan? He won't be happy sitting on the bench.

Seasons are long and tough but what a difference just a few results could make...
If WBA had beaten Swansea and Bournemouth they would now be on 33 points and 7th.
And if Villa had beaten Sunderland....
That would all mean that Villa would be on 14 points, Sunderland 15, Swansea 16, Newcastle 18 and Bournemouth 18. Villa would be right in contention.
Out of all the dozens of games played so far this season, just those 3 results could make such a difference to the Baggies and Villa. Just goes to show how little can change a season!

Just get one more point if it's the only thing you do for the rest of this season.
