A compromise has now been reached whereby Ivanovic extends for one more year but then has the option of an additional year. (Telegraph)
The guy is total dross and not fit for the SPL nevermind this league.
We have no ambition anymore.
The board is having a laugh

He's been a bit less shlt lately and in any case we need long standing senior pro's ffs, we're running a bit low on them.

I was aghast when I first heard this a couple of days ago. If he went on a free I wouldn't give a fack.

Before last season there was a lot of talk that Terry was finished but he came back strong
Ivanovic has done enough to suggest he can come back and is a useful squad player even if he wouldn't be a starter anymore with his vast experience

To be fair to Terry back then wasn't as bad as Ivan has been this season (especially early on, as i've said, he's no longer at the complete nadir of his form). But yeah I agree.

I think that with his past service to us ,we owe him something .Defineatly good to have in the squad and on the bench .

When we lose Terry we are completely screwed. We will be completely exempt of leaders...

If proof were needed that Chelsea fans are fair weather and plastic, this article is it.
But don't tell me. You're all season ticket holders and have supported Chelsea since 1966.

If he's been paid all his massive wages, Chelsea actually owe him nothing.
