"West Ham is a club to watch."
"Slaven Bilic is doing a great job there he really is,"
"They are a massive club, they are a well run club and they are moving to the new stadium next season...and the extra revenue that brings"
I think he makes some excellent points.
Dietmar Hamann talks West Ham.

What are you going on about?
If you find it amusing we have maxed out our wage cap by paying for good players, well good for you.
Of course I look at it that we have a pair of owners who rather than take from the club are happy to spend the full amount the regulations allow. Perhaps Everton would be stronger If they were prepared to do the same?
And look where those wages have got us, still a long way to go in the season, but to me it's looking like paying top dollar for decent players is working out well for us.
As an aside, do you actually have the faintest idea how much Everton's wage bill is in comparison to the Hammers? Because you see spending all you have does not make you poor, for instance; I could tell you I spend all the £4500 I take home a month, leaving me with not a penny to spend. You on the other have may live frugally and save £100 of your £1500, does that make me poor?

So far they are doing well and long may it continue, but being well run would mean money to build on what they have managed so far.

Are you suggesting the owners take money out of the club?

Top dollar, maybe, but is it wise to leave a squad in a position that can't be improved due to restrictions

Player wages are published in the annual accounts, so this information is available if you wish to find it. I know in the past it has been fairly level between the two clubs, however we have room to build on the squad and have done so.

First point, I'm saying West Ham's owners clearly don't take money from the club, or else a cap based on income could not have been reached. On Everton's owners, you will have to think on that.
Second, wise to not leave any money for improvement? Well it's clearly better than the alternative, I mean surely you aren't suggesting any club shouldn't get the very best players it can afford. Of course as a further point the Hammers will have additional money to spend on wages next season, as the sale of the Boleyn means all our outstanding debts will be cleared before we move and their will be the additional revenue the new stadium will bring.
Third, Everton may have built on thier squad, but if they haven't reached their wage cap than they unarguably haven't built as much as they could.

The third point to me is the crux of the debate, you seem to think a club spending the very most it can, on the very best players it can is a bad thing. I simply don't understand that point of view.

You have to ask yourself....
When did any Everton shareholder get a dividend?
Clearly they haven't taken money from the club, plus recent purchases/planned purchases show that there is still plenty of movement within the finances

That's fine that you have "movement" West Ham on the other hand have decided to spend all they can, is that a bad thing?
