(Not intending this to you Planet mainly people on the newspaper comments etc) Why do people hate on him for fighting a bum? It's his first fight in nearly 4 years he should fight a bum to get everything back up to speed and his confidence and i hope he fights another 3 or 4 this year before stepping up.

If Hatton wasn't so proud and had just fought a nobody on his first fight back to get his timing back up to speed and then he'd thought Lomachenko in his second fight he'd have won.

Nothing against Haye - I hope he has a genuinely successful comeback. I like his style - but the guy was rated in the top 10 by the WBA yet he had no discernible boxing skills.

However, to put the WBA rankings into perspective, Anthony Joshua is ranked 13.....

I have nothing against Haye hand picking his first opponent back in to the sport (though I do hope he gets KTFO every time he steps through the ropes) but to fight someone who wouldn't even throw when Haye was standing there with his guard down makes a mockery of the people that paid to be there.

In my eyes, last night was about shaking off the ring rust and creating a bit of buzz that will make the big names sit up and notice. Exactly what was achieved by fighting a glorified punching bag?

What do you make of 'Prince' Charles Martin?? Looks like another straight up, straight down novice. Haye would maul him imo.

Haye would muller him, yes. I hope he doesn't fight him, though, because that would almost certainly see the chances of a full unification go.

Fury almost certainly won't fight Haye and, if Wlad wins the rematch, I still think he's too much for him.
