Now it would seem a cashless West Ham is still a more attractive proposition than Everton for Leeds highly rated right back Sam Byram.
He has chosen to snub Everton according to reports.
I'm not sure how this can happen as according to Arouna, West Ham don't have a penny. I'd be interested to hear his take on this.
If he turns out to be half the player that Cresswell, signed in similar circumstances, turned out to be he is going to prove a great acquisition.
Club with "no money" gazumps Everton

If I told the press your wife was having an affair would you believe.
A. Me
B. What was printed in the press
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Make your mind up kiddo.
Martinez didn't make his CL promise because you didn't hear it come out of his mouth.
WH chairman did make his 'we've got to sell to buy' comments even though you read it in the press and didn't hear it come out of his mouth.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Slowly, slowly catch a monkey.
Sullivan comments were in interview with press. You believe second hand quotes from an actor
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Direct quote from Bill about Martinez's CL promise
Direct quote about WH's financial situation.
Get it yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think you do
Horses mouth or second hand 'quote'
Next you will be using stories from the sun
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Horses mouth? You heard Sullivan directly then?
If I ask you something, then quote what you said to another person is that person hearing it from the horses mouth?
Bill quoted Bob Martin as much as the reporter quoted Sullivan. Martinez was even say next to Bill when he said it.
Bringing my up that rag, classy

Martinez is now claiming that Everton decided Byram wasn't right for them!!!!
even though you offered him a contract and he rejected it?
Not trying to wind you up but you must be a little embarrassed by his statement?

It's a good signing for West Ham, he had no chance of starting for us ahead of Coleman and he has experience of playing in the championship so he can hit the ground running if West Ham started yo-yo ing again in the next few seasons like they so often do

down twice in 23 years is not a yo-yo club.
Plus you have changed the subject. Martinez has claimed that he DECIDED not to sign Byram, which is frankly a lie.
your thoughts?

your thoughts?**
Haven't really got one me old china....he wouldnt have got near our first team unless there were injuries, we will pull someone from the u21's that will go on to be better anyway
Is that all it is - twice in 23 years, thought it was alot more but I dont pay that much attention to the drop zone

It sounded more like if the player wasn't up for the battle he didn't want him.

We obviously told him he won't get anywhere near the first team and West Ham offered him guaranteed first team football add to the fact he's a West Ham fan, then as a player, it's a no brainer, respect to him for wanting to play and not getting splinters on his arris picking up thousands.
If he proves himself at West Ham then he will move to a bigger club, we may go back in for him in a few years

So you reckon if he becomes decent he will stay at West Ham?
Sorry, WHU fan or not, he will be off if he starts to get recognised at International level
