Don't believe the hype.

What players that are hyped to high heaven do you not see the fuss about?

For me, the absolute stand out has got to be John Stones.

Now don't get me wrong, he could quite easily become top class, but amongst the ability to bring the ball out of defence better than most English cloggers, I struggle to see a competent defender in there.

He's caught out of position a lot, and he just doesn't seem to have a sound tactical understanding or reading of the game from what I've seen of him. Now I realise that he is young and could develop his game, but I would bet my left nut he won't ever be as good as the likes of JT, Rio, Sol, or Carragher (that was a golden era for centre halfs) and I'd say similar for Dele Alli who I think will become the next Jermaine Jenas rather than the next Steven Gerrard.

I know we've never been solidly linked with Stones, but there are quite a few centre backs I'd rather us sign than him. I doubt Van Gaal would go for him anyway as he doesn't provide a left footed balance to compliment Mike

A 2-1 win

so on an idividual basis? nothing.

youre trying to make out a dioabolical ref perofrmance is a good wilshere perfromance.

Put up his individual stats earlier, to which you asked what it got him. Which was the 2-1 win.

I am saying a very good Wilshere performance was a very good Wilshere performance and it wasn't in the game Manc Python said it was

I'm surprised that Everton have no less than 5 potentially world class players and yet languish in 14th. Three of them are defensive players and they have let in 39 goals.

That article is gold.

Everton's first 11 may not be up to scratch, but the likes of Barkley,Stones,Lukaku,Coleman and maybe Deulofeu would all walk into both Utd's and Liverpool's side.
