Liverpool are playing well enough without him. Constant failure in the CL and a team on the fall are his future.

We should have offered to take Fernando Scevchenko back on loan for a season - then Don Roman would have given us £30m and not put a horse's head in Kenny's bed again.

Meireles is 28 and we have reportedly got more money for him than the bitters have got for Arteta, and though they have some promising players coming through, I think we have more cover in midfield. Both players put in transfer requests today so pretty similar deals. Meireles was never gonna be 1st choice, particularly when Gerrard is back so lets wish him well, its not like he said how much he loves Liverpool and he's played under AVB before.
