What Actually is The Best Board on JA606?

I was reading an article by Ace Face on the Spurs board yesterday, where he was extolling the virtues of the quality of all the articles and comments on their board for the week. Having read a lot of the content myself, I had to concur with his findings about the level of debate and after a positive week result-wise for them, things seemed unusually very harmonious.

It got me to thinking to, what actually is the best board on JA606? How exactly do you quantify or measure something so subjective or contentious as this? As Arsene Wenger said once "Everyone thinks that they have the prettiest Wife!" So with this in mind, I'm gonna try to get everyone's opinions for an overview of the relative health and perceived qualities of the various boards on here.

I have picked the five biggest Premiership boards on here and put them up for a vote in an order based on the size and amount of pages of articles on that board when I checked it earlier today.

5 's Arsenal with 2,531 pages
4 's Manchester United with 1,623 pages
3 's Chelsea with 1,423 pages
2 's Liverpool with 1,168 pages
1 Tottenham Hotspur with 1,141 pages

Mention must also be made of the Celtic board which is the 4th biggest board on JA606, with 1,170 pages of articles and produced such legendary gems as the "Jinky" article. That said, size isn't everything and quality debating can still be found on the smaller boards like Everton and Manchester City amongst others.

My own opinions for what it is worth are as follows, and apologies to anyone who may be offended by them, but I can only call it as I see it;

Arsenal, lots of traffic, but a noticeable disappearance of the older, sensible posters that used to be visible there. There seems to be an obsession with the Titanic. I don't often go there to be honest.

Man U, lots of quality articles and debate and plenty of stats provided by the likes of Hafi . ps. Whatever happened to my old mate "Red Indian?" I do like the United board when I am at a loose end.

Chelsea, my home, a good board, but it can suffer with inertia at times, where guilty individuals like me don't put up as many articles as I probably should. Apologies for that lads, I'm obviously too lazy or I see that everything is already being covered by other posters.

Liverpool, can be a hostile environment for opposition supporters as the natives are very partisan and proud. Personally, I tend not to go there but I would if I felt I could make a positive contribution to the debate.

Spurs, the debates are always lively and interesting and when things are going well (like now) it can be a harmonious place. However, the one thing that I do find cringeworthy on there is, that when things aren't going so well, are the Civil War's and blood-letting that can erupt between themselves. If I'm honest, it's my favourite opposition board and sometimes the first board I go on when I log on.

Anyway enough of my thoughts, what do you guys all think? What's your favourite board? While you're there what also, is the stand-out article of all time that's been put on your board and is still fondly remembered even today? Please feel free to put links and examples in if you wish.

Admins, please DON'T multi-board as we both know there is no chance.

Redd foxx

Scottish boards are the best bud, and tend to chat on a more social level , and many Gers and Celts know each other from playin foo t ie or pub meets.
The banter and humour is nutty at times, but then a music or film or comedy thread pops up, and boom.

Even our tribla fights are good craic.

Bluebells, that Jinky thread was indeed legendary. have you got the link handy to post here, in the unlikely case that someone here hasn't seen it? Didn't he follow up with further articles about it, if I remember?

I'll tell you what it's not, Leicester's!!

Only one article following a 3-0 win to take us back to the top of the league and that was about the MOTD running order.

I'd create an article but it will be ruined within minutes so no point! So yes Leicester's is the worst of those that actually have people posting regularly.
