Yes Coq has been key also but our passing, ball retention and general movement in Mf has been all over the place since Cazorla's injury.
Yes Ramsey is good at going forward but in terms of intricate passing and keeping us flowing, him, Flamini and Ozil just have not been up to the mark.
Ozil gets muscled of by any half decent Mf and Ramsey will just lose the ball 40% of the time.
As another poster already said, I was also so against Ramsey out wide but wenger is spot on with it. He needs to stay wide when everyone is back.
Even when Coq returns, I still think the Mf will struggle with Ramsey and Ozil together.
Before he got injuried, Cazorla had some of the best stats in the league for a midfielder.
We just can't build from the back without him in the team.
Ps: I think we are still a dreadful team without the ball. I can't believe Cesc and co had so much space today.
Damn we are missing Cazorla!

Id say we clearly miss Coq more.Ramsey will do better with proper protection behind him

I thought I was going to agree with you till you wrote Ozil has not been up to the mark.
ARE YOU SERIOUS. You just lost all credibility.

Now I meant more the Ramsey Ozil partnership which doesn't work.
Ozil has been very good but him and Ramsey don't work

You cannot blame Ozil for Ramseys performance.Ozil has carried Arsenal for most of the season.

Giroud has been as important as Ozil to be fair

Yes Ozil, Giroud, Cech and Monreal have been great.

Very much agreed. One thing, ability aside, that Santi has and Ramsey doesn't is discipline, and it's so important when playing in a 2 in midfield, even more so when down to 10 men.

Ozil played most of the game today as a centre forward. What I could not understand was Flamini and Ramsey bombing forward when they should have been defending. But that's what happens when you have Walcott and Campbell up front. Sanchez completley changed the game when he came on.

I'd like to see Sanchez and Campbell starting next game. Great directness and work ethic on both flanks, also neither are afraid to shoot. Both got that bit of unpredictability about them. Walcott should be dropped now that Sanchez is back. He hasn't done anything really to convince he should be in ahead of Sanchez or Campbell. Still think he's an important player for us, but should be from the bench for now. I'd have Giroud over him up front as well, he can rotate with Campbell and giroud
As for coq and cazorla, I've said since they got injured. We will not win the league without them getting back to fitness. We need them asap. Without them we will slowly slip off the pace. This team just doesn't have the quality in midfiled to win certain games without them.
