Why do I keep seeing City linked to "Pep's way of playing"?

They do not play much like Pep's teams at all. I don't think there personnel is even that suited. He got shot of Yaya, for starters.

I like this article

pep without 5 or 6 defenders/midfielders for a sustained period of time would struggle

he needs the players and unless he spends big and gets them up to speed quick, we'll have another couple of years of transition

people seem to think we will suddenly improve (we probably will during the honeymoon phase) but the same problems will return

theres fundamental issues that the club that need addressing before we get over our current woes and not all are LVG's making.

I have to say, you are not in the position you are in for injury crises, lack of investment, lack of players etc. Your coach is awful - and I have been predicting this day for a while now. Van Gaal stripped my club of its Catalan players and bought in overpaid, expensive, inferior players- he bankrupted us. Had it not been for Laporta, we would be nowhere now. He stripped us of identity and attractive football. He's doing the same to you.
