Joel Campbell

I have seen some write ups here giving out his position to the likes of OX. It got me thinking, has Joel played any game as bad as Ox since given his chance? Is it just a question of not being English? How come we all see their respective performances and still think that OX is the better player even when Wenger thinks otherwise by playing more of Joel. What has Ox done to warrant this in his so many years of being in this team? Do we just hate some players and like some to a fault of sacrificing results?. We can all see how confidence grows with Joel with more games and better performances. very calm on the ball and has the second best killer pass in this team presently cos Santi is injured. I can never understand why anyone will drop Campbell for Ox after watching the two during this our injury crisis.

Ramsey has become an absolute idiot. He has made his game all about making runs into the box completely neglecting his other midfield duties. Instead of being disciplined and involve in our build up he has made it a point to bomb forward whenever we have the ball instead of making those runs around 5 or so times a game. No wonder our midfield has become inexistent with him there and our buildup shocking! Needs a spell on the bench imo

That's down to Wenger. Ramsey does what hes asked to do. If Wenger wants him to be more disciplined he needs to tell him to be. I think its a complete misconception that some fans have who think Ramsey is playing as a DM, he clearly isn't.

Absolutely no one has in any form talked about him being a DM. Don't know why you keep saying that. Also Wenger has in at least two instances criticized Ramsey about his obsession with goal, publicly. I really doubt he is the one telling him to bomb forward every time. Ramsey cares about himself and no one else. In the Liverpool game I saw Flamini give him an earful telling him to go back and help out defending. Didn't really help though

When Ox scores we concede a goal, like clockwork, that just doesn't happen with JC

Heh, I was thinking that the other day. Ramsey used to be compared to Lampard for having that useful knack of arriving in the box at the right time and getting goals. Now he's there permanently :D

haha to think he was crying he wanted to be played in midfield when obviously he wants to be anywhere but there!

If I was Campbell and I got dropped for Ox or Walcott after recent performances, I'd want out of the club.

His performances lately have been very good, he has a great work rate, good athleticism and a bit of composure on the ball to get his head up and at the very least, see there's nothing on and go home to start again. Ox would just blindly try to run through walls at the moment.

I think its a confidence thing and I hope he'll come good, but right now the most he deserves is some sub appearances when we're a couple of goals up so be can come on and find his mojo without huge pressure to perform.

tbf to Ox and I have been one of his harshest critics is I feel he has crumbled under the pressure of people expecting him to have a big season this year. He isn't really looking like he enjoys hi football at all and looked quite "unhappy" He isn't a world beater but he's better than what he's showing.

Ox needs to go and play in the U21s out of the limelight. He needs to practise the basic skills of passing and shooting and getting a few goals . Shame the U21s are coached by Gatting who in my opinion is pretty poor.
