It really comes down to Sanchez

A lot has been made about previous Arsenal sides bottling league titles but I think we need to make a distinction between competing for the league with Bendtner & Adebayor and competing for the league with Sanchez.

Yes I know Tottenham are probably close to the most complete side in the premiership at the moment and Leicester are the most consistent but playing well can only take you close. You need a little more than that.Very few teams have sparkled from beginning to end.The premier league race is very long.

If Arsenal had no injuries like the 2nd half of last season we would probably walk this league but I'm not interested in excuses., united and Liverpool have been crippled by injuries. We should cope and thats exactly what we will do.

I think Sanchez will be the difference, as Aguero has proved to be the difference. If a city team with 2 50 million players plus Silva & Yaya can struggle without Aguero, surely Arsenal with the likes of Cambell and an average performing Theo would feel the impact of Sanchez' absence. He hasn't been that great but when he is in the team at least we can play on the front foot.

Chelsea packed the midfield which neutralized our threat but when Sanchez came on, they were immediately pegged back. We have missed this and I believe if Sanchez and Cech stay fit we will win the league.

He is in my opinion on par with Aguero who is the best player in the league & he will prove to be the difference.

Its a pity we have failed to open up a gap on City which means if we are still level with them in April then nerves when the pressure is turned on could possibly ruin our chances of winning the league.

I actually think if we get home draws up to the quarter finals then we will win the FA cup again.

Once we get to the semis then Home advantage doesn't hurt us and we will be under the least pressure to win the cup.

Apologies as completely off topic but read a good article this morning in regard to club’s use of performance data:

"Chelsea packed the midfield which neutralized our threat but when Sanchez came on, they were immediately pegged back."

And the same "pegged back," could have been accomplished from the opening whistle, with a starting lineup, not including Sanchez. Alexis is the best winger in the league but the wing is not the position that has hindered us winning the league title.

Though Sanchez has been by far the most spectacular to watch doing his thing. But the difference between Arsenal winning the title and not is in the positions behind him. A combination of players and factors really. But we win the title and there'll only be one player at the club whom I'd be willing to say we couldn't have done it without.

It'll be Coquelin. All day every day. Let's face it, exceptionally talented attacking midfielders/wingers is nothing new at Arsenal is it? The problem has been the CDM position for that many years I don't even remember now. Although the sensational Sanchez, Ozil and Cech will be the ones attributed the glory and Kudos. It will be the little bruiser French kid in the middle whom will have been "The difference."

Contrary to popular belief a team's most talented players are not always the players whom make the difference between their team winning the league or not.

I haven't seen enough of Coq to say he is our MVP but I do agree with someone who posted earlier that our transition from defence to attack is 10 times faster when he is in the team. If you add that to the fact that he is the only player in our team who can best sense danger when we are under attack it makes him a huge asset. I personally think he reads the game even better than Mert

There are times when he moves out of position and I worry but in most cases he will have judged it well.

Arsenal have had strong ends to a season as well. Remember making up 12 pts on Spurs to finish 3rd in 2012. Bit of a myth Arsenal always collapse near the end of a season every year.

I think the accusation is more about when we are chasing the title, and indeed trophies of any kind. Put it to bed a little by winning back to back FA Cups, but in league terms they still see it as a fair comment.
