Apparently, it's reported that Gary Cahill has fallen out of favour with the current coaching set-up at Stamford Bridge and is fearing his lack of playing time could cost him a place at the Euro's this summer.
Not sure if Chelsea are willing to do business but if they are, should we stick in a bid?
If so, how much do you reckon would be a reasonable price tag??
He's a solid enough performer and would certainly add strength to our rear guard imo. We need decent reinforcements but does he have enough quality?
How would you rate him against our current cadre of defensive options??
Might be an inspired signing.
Cahill. Worth A Punt???

So, the consensus is no thanks?
Which is probably right. Just.

Nope, he's decent at best in a struggling team with two sitting midfielders and Terry orchestrating an experienced defence.
Sakho and lovren are both better and paired up well. I look forward to having them back

Worth a punt? Are you on drugs?
If Liverpool signed Cahill in January it would be the most inspired bit of business since they signed Didi Hamman.
Worth a punt.
It's not 2005 anymore.

Probably a good reason not to go for him then...
Murphy was a decent player, but hardly a paragon of footballing knowledge.
