Best and Worst Deadline Day?

So guys as it's deadline day tomorrow I thought I'd ask you all what you think was the best and worst deadline day

My favourite deadline day has to be when Ozil signed. It was such a shocking and exciting moment. Yes some people may not have been surprised we signed him or that he agreed t sign. But for me I didn't think we would ever spend that sort of money. The fact we got him over United and psg (if you believe some people) also surprised me. The whole day had me hooked. Bale signing for real too.

The worst as an arsenal fan and as a neutral has to be last January's. What actually happened. No big or even smaller signings to really speak of

The arshavin one was good.

Didn't we buy silvestre on a deadline day? That came out of know where. And possibly the most disappointing surprise we've had

Ozil was unreal, just couldn't believe it.
Arshavin was also really exciting.

The worst were Kim Källström and Amaury Bischoff - both an insult to the supporters.

Welbeck just behind.

The two I remember best (even more than the Özil one) are the Winter 2009 Arshavin one (which I think was delayed to February because of snow so it felt like a deadline week) and the 2011 one where we signed half a squad and it worked out well.

2011 and eleven was both the best and worst. We clearly had no plan, and the summer had been a disaster to that point, but then in the last few days we actually did some business.

Some was on important players like Arteta and Mertesacker, and some was on enormous mistakes like Park and Santos.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Park was a revenue orientated move. Bought to tap the Asian market. We probably made his fee back in merchandising before he'd even arrived. Personally I'd have liked to have seen him play more than he did. We were hardly heaving with talented strikers ahead of him.

Santos was a disaster though. I don't think I quite remember another player being so talented yet so hapless

Ozil was exciting...until he played. Barely looked worth 4.2 million at times. Arshavin has to be the daddy signing for me. Just by virtue of being exciting as a signing and Sanchez hot, out of the blocks. Unlike Ozil, Arshavin looked worth every penny from day one.

Arshavin was a breathe of thresh air in his first half a season.

I didn't rate him much in later seasons though

When we signed Torres. Even spent all night wumming Liverpool back on the old 606

The arshavin signing was probably the most exciting.

when we bought Ozil in, that was up there but we failed to bring anyone else in as we were crying out for a defender.

Arshavin tailed of big time and Ozil didn't really justify the price tag in the first two seasons
