Denis Cheryshev?

Zidane said today he'd be going out on loan tomorrow.

Spanish TV saying he's thought to be PL-bound, and more specifically Liverpool.

Hearing anything your side?

Nothing but a couple of spanish journos.

What do you think of him?

Seems bang average whenever I've seen him, has played very little as well.

Don't think Madrid are his level, but he's a handy enough player, imo. Had a v good season for Villarreal last season, Madrid shouldn't have brought him back to rot on the bench.

I miss transfer deadlines where we actually have 1 player coming in. This January window has been awful for us. We are not learning from our previous mistakes. Pin our hope on one player. It falls apart then goodbye. Plus we buy young players and loan them back. Would be better to get the player here and settled in England. Then all ready to go for Pre-season. Caulker the only in and that on loan and backup to the backup.

Hopefully this summer we just sign 2 or 3 (GK, CB, Fwd) players of real intent rather then 5,6,7.

I hope you get Tex , another 30 million on a bang average player.

He really isn't that good mate.

The premiership would gobble him up.

I agree with WHL Lifer. He's definitely not an improvement on your current players

Cherishev will be off to Sevilla I think, apparently his father is the managers assistant at Sevilla.

I think our business is done now and it's the summer where will will do our transfer activity.

I hadn't heard anything about Liverpool. I thought more or less Sevilla was a done deal.

It's what they said last night on Estudio Estadio (or whatever that show's called nowadays).

Latest I've read (Ballague quoted in The Guardian), is that Sevilla have agreed a loan deal but will not finalise it unless they can offload Kakuta, and that Watford might be lurking in the wings.

I read it in Marca.

I don't know if it's online too ... yes ...

Sevilla certainly know how to go about getting excellent squad depth for next to no investment.

I think they were resigning someone from Spurs this morning too. They just resign ex-players or players who fail to live up to expectations abroad. Good policy!
