No excuses for yesterday obviously.
However the state of that pitch for a national stadium ?
Parkhead, ibrox and even firhill are all in much better condition, any ideas why Hampden is just so bad ??

I honestly don't know why its so bad
the parkhead pitch looks fantastic in comparison.
Your right about the weather, I just think they don't know how to or are willing to spend what required.

The only pitch in the Glasgow area that went off at the weekend.

Hampden looks like a proper dreary stadium. The pitch always seems to be below standard.

Celtic Park and Ibrox are far better.

lol well it is a rubbish stadium
The main stand is excellent (they spent north of 60m there).
I believe the issue is that both ends are build on filling that was slag from the steel works, so is loaded with hazardous heavy metals and would cost a fortune to remove, that's why the cant (I may be wrong in this)
