Didn't expect this - should be interesting.

Khan's barely even proved himself at welterweight yet so I'm really confused as to why he's now going up a further two weight divisions to fight at middleweight. Boxing has become very strange in recent times.
As for Brook don't see why he deserves criticism. I'm sure he wants big fights as well but I wouldn't be surprised if he's being ducked by the bigger names just as Khan ducked him.
As said above on this thread Brook doesn't bring much box office yet in the US but he will if given an opportunity to fight the likes of Thurman, Danny Swift or even Bradley and make a name for himself Stateside.

Khan is doing it for money there is no doubt about that whatsoever, and if he does lose as expected then he's got the Brook fight to fall back on for another 5-10 million, and if he does somehow win then he'll get immense credit and even more money fights.
He's literally in a no lose situation here and he's getting what is it 10 mill in the process?

Normally I'd assume Floyd was pretending not to know his name... but Kell is relatively unknown outside the UK.

Yeah I saw that. He kept saying Brook, more than just twice. Mayweather also had to be reminded what Keith Thurman's name was which is surprising. He barely even knows who the best fighters in his own division are.

Not convinced it's a no lose for Khan. He could easily get knocked the feck out in this fight if Canelo connects properly so getting whipped isn't going to do Khan's career any good.
Ok he'll have the Brook fight to fall back on but I don't think he'll beat Kell so where would that leave him?
I think this is a quite a strange move by Khan and interestingly Mayweather appears to think the same judging by a recent interview on his UK tour.
