why on earth is he on talksport giving his football 'insight' anyway

I have no idea what Talksport is, but I will hazard a guess that it involves phone ins.

Now, considering Piers is probably the most obnoxious man on earth, why wouldn't you want him on a phone in show?

Also if you ever met him the first thing you would likely want to do is punch him in the face.
