One thing i realized about LVG is that he only obey for the will of the fans when he is under pressure. I am sure we will revert back to the 'bore to death' tactic in no time. Whatever happens this season (even with top 4 finish), he should go. I believe we have seen enough to know that he is not a United manager. The fact that we got so excited we beat a Championship side and a poor Stoke team shows how far we have fallen. These games should be a given not a surprise.
As for the alternative, I think Jose is the man to challenge the likes of Pep next season. If Giggs is given the job, that is not only a bad management but a conspiracy to destroy the club.
LVG Still Needs To Go

Let's go all out to win them all. In all likelihood we won't but I am sure if we take every individual match on its own then you could make a case for us winning most of them.
If we play with a bit more intent like the last couple of games we'll win the majority of our remaining games I am confident of that.

Last night was my favourite performance from us in a long while. What let's Van Gaal down is that the fans have been calling for these changes to be made for a long time. This is how we should be playing. How do we recognise this but he doesn't?

I really don't understand this kind of logic. Is there a 'play good football' switch that LVG has refused to flick until yesterday?

I am going to go out on a limb here, and risk the wrath of the LVG out brigade and say that I don't think LVG has wanted us to play the way we have been doing in January.
He certainly doesn't give that impression in his recent interviews. I think a lot of this is the players not getting it right.

I am not sure I agree. They may have tweaked it themselves, but for the most part we have looked like this whenever the opposition decides to take the initiative which our poor form has encouraged. Our away performances are also a bit better for the same reasons. Every single formation, he has deployed always dominated possession I do not believe for a second he would change it now.
For example, did you see our style after we were 3 up and stoke gave up? Same " boring" style, which really needs more talented players.
Koeman knew what to do when he came, it was hilarious the way he was sure of holding us by playing three in the back and a holding midfielder. If stoke did that, the freedom Mata had would have been non existent and the "good football" we played may be a different story.
Let's hope the opposition do not figure it out

I agree completely - and Hiddink is no mug for starters.. I don't think we have radically changed our style either.
I think what we have seen in the last two games is a combination of things: key players playing better, more urgency and a higher tempo, an early goal, Stoke in poor form, Mata getting more space, Carrick back, etc..
Obviously we can just hope that this form continues because confidence has been a big issue for us and we have so far failed to sustain any momentum.
