Liverpool the Gooseberries

Sunday 14th February, Valentines day. A day for romance, showing your loved one(s) how much you care, a day when nothing else matters except you and the love you have for your other half..........feck that!

Its Super Sunday. A Super Sunday truly worthy of the name. A day when the Top 4 all throw their keys in a bowl and try to come out on top. Arsenal vs Leicester. Man City vs Tottenham.

But wait. What's this? Who's this annoying presence, butting in while the contenders make eyes at eachother.....like some god awful violinist coming over to your restaurant table while you try and enjoy a meal with the wife....Its Liverpool, the gooseberry. Spotty, hairy, ugly, annoying and their drop out boyfriend, Villa, boring you with their tales of how they both used to be far more attractive than they are now.

What fool dreamed up this scheduling. Its like having 2 drunk dickheads fighting on the under card of Haye vs Fury & Klitschko vs Joshua.

Just need to keep this group together, some careful additions and we are really going places.

Oh and our goal difference is in heard of for a Spurs team over the last 30 years!

Let the doubters doubt! This isn't the Tottenham
That anyone has seen in the last 20 years.

In fairness though, deep down most Spurs fans are waiting for the bubble to burst... It's been ingrained in us for +25 years, so you have to expect other fans to expect us to implode too....many, and esp the mousers, are desperate to see us fail.

Yeah they are great! I'm a bit too old to get excited about young kids! Not talking Sandy or Granspur age by close to 40, but they all seem to get on, no attitudes, just all in it to win each game as it comes. I like this bunch so much!!

Now my typical Spurs hangup, will we do what we should do and win on Saturday?

Tough nut Watford.
.a few ex Spurs and theyll feel robbed when we nicked it at theirs with a late latw off side goal.

Should win, but even a draw = a return I would have taken for the last 4 games (W3D1L0)

We better win. With all the top four meeting somewhere over the next couple of games it's a must. Last nights result was perdect! They don't need to bounce back from a loss and wontvbe on a bounce!

And that's why we shouldn't underestimate Watford at all! They've been a tough nut to crack more or less all season, we've GOT to beat them at WHL!
