Who should start for us...

The Way I see it, Our first team pretty much picks itself apart from LB, RB and the third player in the three behind Kane.

Who would you prefer to be first choice?
Davies or Rose?
Walker or Trippier?
Chadli, Lamela or Son?

Personally, I prefer Davies at LB, just feel so much more comfortable with him at the back. Rose is good but makes really poor decisions sometimes, like when he fouled Hazard when he was going nowhere and got booked.
I prefer Walker to Trippier, improved a lot this season and is, in my opinion, better than Trippier in every area bar crossing(Though you could argue that Trippiers excellent delivery should earn him a start). I think fullbacks mainly come down to who we are playing, how offensive or defensive we want to be. But in general, A Walker/Davies combo would be my preference.

Right now, I would like to see Chadli start purely based on his good form but I like Son the most out of the three. Lamela is.... well, I'm still not sold on Lamela. Don't get me wrong, I can see his is twice the player he was last season, and his work rate is exceptional but he still frustrates me a lot. He gives the ball away a lot and has a real nasty habit of completely slowing down our build up play. I have seen him literally stand still for 5 seconds after receiving the ball causing us to lose all out momentum. Still a great player though when he is on the top of his game. Lamela at his very best is better than Son at his very best, if that makes any sense.

Who would you prefer to see start at Lb, Rb and in the three alongside Alli and Eriksen?

I'm quite happy with the rotation Poch currently employs. Having a settled first eleven is a thing of the past imo.

Interesting article about the future here....

Walker, Rose and.....TBH i just trust Poch to pick the right players for who we're playing. I don't think Lamela has been dropped, more a case of who we were playing.

The fact we are even debating it says a lot, there isn't much to choose between them, also it's good tactically as the opposition don't know which full backs or players behind Kane will be playing, keeps them guessing

Didn't we have this debate yesterday? .

Rose for me. Quick, dynamic, tenacious. I like Davies as a player, and in a 442 or a 4411 I think he'd be fantastic, but he's much more your traditional LB rather than the variant the system really requires.

Walker edges it for me in this regard too. Not as marked as the LBs though. I like Trippier, he has a bit of skill and trickery about him and a wicked delivery.

Son>Chadli>Lamela.
Son is a livewire, I think we look a better attacking side when he is in it as he unsettled defences. I think it helps if Davies starts too as it gives a bit of dynamism ahead of him. Don't get me wrong I like Chadli, and he and Rose in particular have a great understanding. Both have goals in them, both direct too. Lamela would be my last pick of the three. Not a big goal threat, not direct, doesn't commit players. Eriksen looks a better player when he doesn't play too it seems.

For me this is a further split:

Chadli or Son

Eriksen or Lamela
