Assuming the reports of the board talking to Jose are in fact true. There will obviously be speculation and how these talks will go.
I don't think it's quite so simple as "Hello Jose, how much money do you want, the job's yours ?"
.
I would like to think that board members would be asking questions like ..
"Jose, who do you think is to blame for Chelsea's meltdown this season and explain your role in that?"
"Jose, looking back, what do you think you could have done differently to have avoided Chelsea;s present problems and prevent anything similar happening in the future ?"
"Jose, can you convince us that you haven't totally lost the plot and stop ranting and raving about the problem being everyone else and not YOU yourself ?".
"Jose, do you think you can change and become a respected manager, one that players will want to play for ?"
I'm sure there are many other burning questions that need to be answered before the 20ft barge pole is readied.
