This is it - the big one......! Can Manchester City stop the meteoric rise of The Foxes? Can they stop messrs Vardy and Mahrez without Kompany? Or will Aguero show his class and put this title race back into Citys hands?
Really by the time we have played this game and Arsenal, we will know exactly where we are in terms of title contenders. This is part 1 of our two toughest tests between now and the end of the season. Clear these hurdles and the unthinkable is suddenly very achievable.
So, with Aguero fit (shame!) and Leicester unchanged, here are the line ups;
Leicester;
Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Mahrez, Kante, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.
Subs: Schwarzer, King, Gray, Ulloa, Dyer, Wasilewski, Chilwell.
Man City;
Hart, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Demichelis, Kolarov, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Delph, Sterling, Aguero.
Subs: Caballero, Clichy, Sagna, A.Garcia, Fernando, Celina, Iheanacho.
COME ON!!!!! ARRGHGHGHGHGH!!!!

I was exactly the same Mersey, you'll remember how angry I was that we sacked Pearson for Ranieri. I wasn't the biggest fan of his Pearson but I thought he had come through the worst and was set to move us forward.
Ranieri was a dinosaur as far as I was concerned, another Sven. To be fair Lineker and Savage shared the same view, loads of people were surprised with the appointment.
How wrong was I? He's been amazing and he's done something that Pearson couldn't - fix the leaky defence while playing 4-4-2

Good grief! I'd forgotten about Simpson in terms of transformation. Him, Wes and Drinkwater are like new players compared to last season.
We have entered the twilight zone haven't we?

Wow! What a performance and what a result.
Just when you think it can't get any better, it does.
Hats off to all the players. They were magnificent again today.

Forgot to mention after the Liverpool goal who said my Vardy did not have a first touch back in the day

Avoid defeat to Arsenal and we'll be in dreamland. Even if we lose we're in an incredible position going in to out easier run.
That said, no game will be easy now. We couldn't beat Villa!

Massive credit to Ranieri for not chopping Pearsons backroom staff. They know the players strengths & weaknesses inside out.
Ranieri brought some of his own guys in, but integrated them into our set-up. He listened well to the "Don't fix it if it ain't broke" thing.
He's studied our players and not thrown in his own signings from the off.
Well done Claudio, well done.
