Man City looks hollow..........

...cant see them winning anything this season-over reliant on one injury prone player, hollow midfield, Yaya looks like he would rather be elsewhere and the defence-nothing good to say here.

so bar the carling cup-cant see them winning anything else-which for a very expensively assembled team is very very poor return.

so title is Lesta or Arsnl

Not writing them off. It's been a while since they turned it on, but they still possess a lot of quality.

They are a completely different side with Kompany, if they can get him back then they will be favourites.

City don't deserve the title, Bought 2 £50m players... Another £30m centre half and a couple of other additions in Delph and Roberts. Spurs or Leicester for me deserve it on actual hard work rather than cash.

I didn't fancy them to have a good season at the start, but they're doing better than I thought, partly to do with the poorness of the competition. They aren't out of the title race, and can still do a domestic treble or more.

Yaya will swap birthday cake for moon cake and go to China in the summer.

Maybe he's already celebrating the Year of the Couldn't Give a Monkey's.

Don't understand the thinking behind announcing a new manager is coming in the summer, can't see how that sort of thing is going to motivate the players or indeed keep them focused when they know the guy running the show isn't going to stick around.

didn't do bayern any harm when it was announced pep was coming.

and some clubs you think players are playing despite the manager, not for him...i'm sure players sweated blood for SAF, do we think the current lot are really playing because of their love for LVG? Pellegrini seems a decent guy, but whether the players are playing for him - rather than for the club, the fans, the money, the prestige - i don't know.

yaya may down tools, assuming he is off; but navas/sterling/otamendi/kolarov may pick it up because they think they are playing for their places.

Agree with you. They would've conceded up to 10 fewer goals in the league if he avoided injury.
