Doesn't makes sense. Pressing relentlessly will leave massive gaps if they circumnavigate the press. And there isn't the luxury of a high line to bail the failed press out.
Sit deep = soak up pressure and retain structure.

Get a gun. Keep an eye out for any rabbits - easy to see, they'll be dressed in Red. If anyone shines a headlamp on them, watch their inevitable automatic reaction.

Of course you can drop behind the ball and still press, Why not, press at your own half, keeping structure
