Paul Pogba- Wengers next Superstar

There aren't that many special players at the moment. When you watch the invincibles side and you watch players like Bergkemp, Viera, Henry, Pires you scratch your head and wonder why they aren't many players who can consistently produce the performances those players could. And its been more than 10 years now.

Ourselves and united have provided the bulk of special players who have left lasting memories in the minds of most fans in this country.

City have provided the more recent ones like Yaya, Silva, Aguero although the first 2 are ageing and not as good.

It got me thinking about who the next special player Wenger will sign and develop into one of the best players? we know despite his flaws tactically, he is still in my opinion one of the best judges of raw talent the league has ever seen, possibly better than Fergie.Yes he has made monumental mistakes like putting faith in the likes of Theo, Almunia and a host of others but I feel that had more to do with budget constraints. Wenger has managed and developed some of the best talent the game has ever seen.

We currently have 2 special players (Ozil and Sanchez) although I have my doubts if Ozil will ever reach the heights of the top invincible players.I still feel Sanchez has another gear or 2 in him. We are still not getting the best return from Sanchez even though he is easily top 3 player in the league.

I know wenger has duped us in the past but I feel he is going to sign a top talent in either the 3 following positions

Winger
Central Mid
Striker

We know Wenger doesnt sign players just to fill gaps thats why he has ignored calls to sign players like Felliani, Fernando, Benteke, Remy,Balotelli, among a host of other average players that Wenger is always told to buy.

Obviously the striker and winger berths dont have too many top talents available for less than record breaking fees but I have a feeling that we might bid for pogba this summer.

How much would he cost realistically? Would he cost anymore than Sterling?

I think about 50 million pounds could get Pogba's signature and i can see wenger making a bid unless if barca decide to sign him.

The other obvious signing is Mahrez and Im almost certain the cub will make a bid but will obviously face competition from united and chelsea.

Wenger bought a 16 year old for 15m and persisted with him due to financial restraints?

LOOOOL this isn't 2008 mate ffs!

Wenger hasn't developed a talent for years and has lost his ability to do so. Look at the British crop for example all going downhill.

The talent he has he doesn't even acknowledge unless forced (Coq, Joel). Bellerin thanked Bould for his development lol

Wenger doesn't have it in him to produce another project in fact his comments after the cup defeat to Sheffield almost said it all. Never had him to blast the youth the way he did, clearly not the same man.

Think our 'British core' would have been much better had each player not been fecked continuously by injury

no chance to sign Pogba, more chance of Jeb Bush being the next US President.
