The untold story that makes us very warm

It is evident that while Spurs made it to the second of the league, keeping a very low profile, and media raving initially about Arsenal -calling them their year to win the league, then media "experts" screaming "why not Leicester", while all the time Spurs kept up the good work progressing nicely.

These media "experts" forget that Tottenham are one of the YOUNGEST side in the league, with THE BEST defensive AND goal difference record

Youngest side, locally harvested talent, these are great words

Tottenham have every chance of repeating what they are achieving this season, NEXT season and even the season AFTER that.

That is the untold story of the top 4 teams : we have one of the YOUNGEST side in the league and they are challenging for the highest honour

Nice to this young side on a run of 6 wins on the trot.

The other thing to recall is simply one that you won't hear Leicester fans mention: Possession of the ball

It takes some talent to be so young and dominate games against Arsenal in their own backyard, Man City at home and even Leicester home and away - but then again that's easy to do

With more sharpness in front of the goal, Spurs would probably sitting a lot higher

That will come with experience and this team can only grow together - being so young.

Well done to the youngest side to challenge top 4 this season while playing a possession and attractive game

All joking aside, whether Leicester win the league or not, they will likely be bottom half and possibly in contention to go down next season.

Which will vanish Arro from Ja for eternity.

Dunno really. They're not short of a few quid are they and if they make a couple of solid signings they should be fine I reckon especially if they keep Mahrez but that may well be hard.

I dont think sit back and hit on the counter coughing up +60% possession in most games is a long term strategy that can work.

They have some quality players but teams and individuals usually have to adapt to maintain results over time.....because Leicester oppositions will adapt and make it harder for them to do what they are currently doing so well. For a lot of this season they were underestimated. Next season and may be in some remaining games they will get some 'special treatment'

Just cause they play that way now doesn't mean they won't adapt and become a better side with the ball over time.

I was bored to tears watching you zzzzz

You would be, Spurs recently smashed you on your own patch. FFS your so boring. Fortunately with Leicester being one season wonders in all probability, you can take your tosh onto the Championship board, where you will probably be in the next couple of years after your moment in the spotlight.

Considering the sports news on this day of all days, it's quite eye opening to see the OP speak so effervescently about his admiration for the youngsters and of "harvesting local talent".

A nice choice of words.

To be honest they have to. Early part of the season they looked like they could, but closed up shop thereafter.

Villa looked to be challenging at the top using this style, but failed to adapt (and list a couple of their best players) and look at them now.

The only difference is Leicester are a lot more settled at board level, but they'll still need to adapt in future seasons to keep it up.

Yeah fair comment but I think if the added a different type of striker, and upgrade on Ulloa for example, they could use wing play and different styles.

It would only take a small shift to gain more possession.

"Locally harvested" as in Belgium????

Think it has been well-documented that we've usually had the youngest starting lineup most weeks though to be fair, hopefully they handle the run-in like seasoned pro's, although sometimes youngsters will just play without fear anyway so we'll see how it pans out.

Enjoying watching us play - wherever they originate from. Playing with a tempo and a purpose. Looking to get out foot on the ball and pass it around. None of this business of having 8 players lined up outside our own penalty box, in fear of touching the ball, then hoofing it forward to the quick striker like a game of FIFA 15. Not just us doing that though, Man City and Arsenal have also played some quality football.

"There is only one ball, so you need to have it."

"Quality without results is pointless. Results without quality is boring."
