Do cants like "I am gooner" and his band of merry cants not realise that the football we played against united at the emirates does not happen all the time. Its not like you just put Theo, Sanchez and ozil and we destroy teams. Most of this season we have scrapped and fought and nobody has fought more than Giroud.
I havent seen any fluent football from our side since november and its the scarppers like Giroud that keep us going.Sanchez had possibly his worst game in an arsenal shirt, ozil moaned all game and only Coq and Cech stood firm.
Another dic challenge by Kos, Im lost for words now how he keeps messing up on the big stage.He is too talented to do that.
Our spine is Cech, Coq and Giroud and those are the leaders in the team who will see us over the line.

The football we played against Man U was with Theo; not Giroud playing at CF. We were top of the league and flying. Then Theo got injured and Giroud came in and did well when he was fresh. He has been playing just about every game since and now hes tired he is useless. No goals in 6 games
If you are happy to settle for a striker as our starter every week who os only any good when he is frsh tha5s up to you, but I dont have to like it. I want the best for Arsenal and settli g for him is not the best, its deatinctly second rate and shows the ambition that we've seen in recent years to be happy with top 4.
You have ven said we havent played any football in the period when Giroud came back in as starting at CF, but appear ro be too blind to see that he is part of that provlem. In that time we have seen probably hundreds of attacks break down because of him.
Please feel free to settle for second choice, I wont insult you for that even though you i sult me for wanting a better player at Arsenal and getting frustrated at having second best.

And can we never hear the words "Ozil goes missing when it counts again". He was poor today, but he produced a perfect ball in THE DEFINITION of when it counts just then. Add to that goals versus United and Bayern, assists versus City, the assist versus Spurs, a great performance versus Olympiakos away, and ending the goal drought last weekend. Can we please just understand that some players have off days, but world class players give you title winning moments even when they look poor. Alexis too was awful today, but he could have produced a moment of brilliance, and next week he more than likely will. Walcott after weeks of poor performances kept his cool for his goal. Giroud's effort levels were superb today, credit where credit due.

Giroud is going to be a championship winning striker. All those who said he isn't good enough will eat their words. He is so important. He maybe slow, but the team has adjusted to his needs. His knockdowns and physical presence is so under valued.

If we xo win it, I think it will be despite Giroud. The only true test will be when we have a different striker so we can see how the team perform with them instead of Giroud.
Hes a good player when fresh but he isnt now so has no goals in 6 games.I would be happy for him to be used as a sub but not starting every week.

There is absolutely no basis for it t the moment. Why is Giroud judged differently from Sanchez or ozil? He actually missed some chances today but it was his commitment and endeavour that contributed to our game.
We are a very wasteful side in general, Ive said it a lot, against united and city we were just lucky to take our chances. Our game management is also poor and we were fortunate at times today as in other games.
But until we get our fluency back we need to scrap and fight and there is none doing it more than Giroud.
Did you see him track back from the front to win the ball in our half.He has been magnificent.Yes he is limited but we all already know that

There are certain aspects to his game that go against how I like the game to be played. He never attacks the line at the moment and always drops behind the defence; when our players try to cross in front of goal he is not there. He should at least vary it. When we are counter attacking he slows up play and lets the defence get back. It only takes half a second and the advantage can be gone. He plays to many little flicks which I see as backpasses, often just as the defence are passing him and he plays into the space behind them, at which point the fluid attacks break down. I dont mean to be insulting but I think a lot of people cant see the affect he has on our play as a whole. As you have pointed out, without him we are fluid but with him we are not and end up scapping for results.

Coq is back now so his absence is not an excuse today. Our attacks break down around the box, not in midfield.
