Ronnie O'Sullivan won seven frames in a row to defeat Neil Robertson 9-5 to win the Welsh Open.
A controversial week for the Rocket started by him turning down a 147 chance, claiming the £10,000 prize to be "too small".
Ding Junhui made a maximum despite losing his quarter final match.
Ronnie joins Steve Davis and John Higgnins on 28 major ranking titles, eight shy of Stephen Hendry who is still top of that list with 36 titles.

Ronnie exhibition last week was bloody £100! Champions of Champions final was £30. How on earth could an exhibition cost over 3 times more then a major final!

I've only paid £25 per ticket for this event in September. I'm not confident it will go ahead though, waiting for Ronnie to take another sabbatical. Or retire.

That means you got value for money RKW because that exhibition sounds a lot better then the one I went too. I know I'm not a fan of Ronnie but I thought I would attend it because as a Snooker fan can't miss out on these opportunities and have to appreciate the best players. Ronnie played against 8 people. Only one was a former player Mick Price who is famoulsy known for being on the receiving end of that maximum break Ronnie made against him in 5 minutes 20. John Virgo was there and he was cool. I'm guessing if people wanted to play a frame against Ronnie then probably had to apply well in advance or something. I would have loved to have given him a game and if I scored 10 points would have been pleased with that lol. There were no photo sessions though which I expected. Ronnie did sign autographs though and there was a raffle but I just think £100 was a complete rip off.

I'm going to a Stephen Hendry exhibition in May which is £30

That does seem an excessive amount to pay just for an exhibition. Surely you could get tickets for the Crucible at a cheaper price?
Not long now until the start at Sheffield. I made it six weeks yesterday, so... 41 days to go?

Haha I know right, The World Grand Prix starts on Tuesday. I will try and watch most of it. Can't believe how quick the Snooker and football season have gone! seems like only yesterday we were watching Bingham winning the World Title.

No, he lost 4-3, the final on ITV 4 is between Murphy & Bingham a re-run of the world final.

Yeah seen that. Bingham leads 5-4 after the afternoon session.
