Henderson has had a poor season.

Just hasn't been the same player since returning from injury.

Him and Milner together can't work long term, just don't compliment each other well.

Just saw Matip disallowed goal for Schalke. Unlucky. It was a good header. He gets 6 goals every season. He has had 4 so far this season. Him and Benteke for set plays.

Milner and Kolo played well, Coutinho has obviously been doing the 3.00am feed for his missus, and had a night off tonight, but we at least didnt concede.
If thats our best chance of Champions League football next season, then we are flucked.
Our next prem game is at home to City, win that, and we are 6 points off fourth, think top 4 is still our only chance, albeit a small one, of CL football next season.

Our season will depend on next Sunday in my opinion. A trophy would represent a real step forward, and a strong finish to the end of the season to finish top 6 would make it a decent one.

Fairly apparent we have no chance of winning this tournament. We just can't perform in any European match at all, hard to explain why.

I never saw Sunday's game but Aston Villa must be dreadful if we scored 6 goals as we were dreadful yet again tonight. You can see Klopp's frustration with the mediocrity on show

Totally agree, one match to go all out on and win a trophy. Doesn't matter how as long as we win it. It would be a massive boost.

As for the Europa league, well we were awful tonight but I wouldn't rule out our chances of progressing further. Home match all square, and an average team to beat.

Yeah, because that's how football works

I knew we wouldn't win this game easily.

Klopp is right to talk about showing German teams more respect. This was never going to be an easy win.

European away games are tough.

5 away wins in 20 games this week and I bet the ratio wasn't much different across the group stages.

We didn't play well but to expect us to turn up and win 3-0 was unrealistic and being unrealistic leads to disappointment.

Term

Wind your neck in son

You could clearly see Klopp's frustration

I wonder if you actually support Liverpool as you seem happy to accept mediocrity and you backed Rodgers all the way despite his continued failings
