Bolton take on qpr today in what could be the last ever game played by the club. In court in 48 hours time the club faces oblivion. Will the sale of the club go through in time? Will Bolton go into administration? Will Ed wriggle off the hook again and get another extension? Will the club be wound up? Uncertain times. Also ed is making a state visit and we have a minutes applause for Mr gartside before kick off. Mmm. Personally i would prefer a minutes silence for Phil the man rather than the applause. Onto on the pitch matters. Bolton are bottom of the league again 7 points from safety. Qpr stand 14th with little chance of being involved in a play off chase or getting dragged into a relegation battle. Team news. Wheater, trotter and Clayton still out injured. Various niggles in the squad. Madine and spearing face late fitness checks, dervite and mavies both carrying knocks. Moxey and Clough could both be back and heskey is expected to be rested.

Bham a d, Burnley h l, leeds a l, ipswol h d, preston h w, Bristol a d, reading h w, Brentford a d, Derby a l, Middlesbrough h l, charlton h w, cardiff a l, hull h l, fulham a l. That's 38 points. Not enough. Optimistic there too!

Sorry, but that was a feckin waste of an afternoon. Why on gods green earth play either Hesky or Madine....or for that matter the utterly useless Devite? I cant see how any under 21 squad member could not be better than the 3 named above. Anyhow, if that's as good as it gets, I'm off. Pulling up weeds has to be more entertaining and logical use of my Saturday than that shambles. I was going to Leeds, but sod it, I'll prune the hedge instead.

Big mistake by Lennon taking a striker off for Danns just invites more pressure,Imo Silva should have been the one to come on ,he also praised Derik last week yet dropped him this week, that's just what Dougie would have done.

Just heard about Lovley Uncle Eddie now demanding a percentage of any future profits and a suite named after him at the stadium, this comedy just keeps on giving.Convinced Davies has lost the plot, where the bejesus does he think any profits are gonna come from.

It's actually clever as it will minimise the SS "We make money make money" potential to exploit a quick turnaround asset stripping and resale of remnants

I never believed the debt written off quote by Davies. I am fully expecting the club to be wound up tomorrow now. What after that? Reform as Bolton wanderers 2016 in the bottom rung of the football pyramid funded and run by the supporters trust? Share Radcliffe boroughs ground? Wonder what these skeletons really are that have been found in the closet?

Whatever these skeletons are it won't be good news.
I agree with you Benny, it's looking like the club will be wound up. If it is, it's down to two people, Eddie Davies and Phil Gartside. Mismanaged the club to the point where we are staring liquidation in the face. It will now take a miracle to save the club in it's present form.

waiting impatiently for those revelations to come out, just found Nixon states another unnamed buyer waiting in the wings, will make a move after the court outcome.
I don't always believe what Nixon says

Davies latest demands/movement of goalposts shows clearly that the debt is still there and not written off. Just one big mess. If i was the judge i would just say sorry but i have no choice but to allow hmrc to wind you up. You have had your chance, sold assets off yet you're not paying the tax. Sorry game over.

The debt is still there on the books it wasn't going to be removed any earlier as a deal is not done yet.
Remember the debt would only be written off once a buyer came forward who met the terms of Ed to ensure sustainability of the club
