What's the general thoughts about the proposed 74th minute walk out?
My own views are that a definate show of our disgust at how the club is being run is a good idea, I'm just not sure whether it will have maximum impact???
Will fans walk out even if we are winning (yes winning, stranger things have happened!)?
Would a better show be if fans simply turned our back on the game in the 74th minute? Or waved the white hankies (ala Madrid style)?
Its all about getting the message across. Any other thoughts?

Not sure what message it would give walking out when we're 6-3 up

I think it will be a waste of time. It won't have the required impact as it will probably be a 50/50 split anyway.
If they play like they did against Liverpool a lot would have left before anyway.
I will be at the game as a season ticket holder, but more of an impact is to just not go to the game. That then hurts the people it should do the money men.

It seems a bit like you are cutting off your nose to spite your face. You have paid to see your team so why should you lose out.
Also, what do you want the result to be? Hollis is already investigating so fox and Co are being looked at and villa are up for sale. unless it was a change in personnel that learner could do something about tomorrow or something he had the power to control ie ticket prices I don't understand what is the desired result, everyone at the club must know the fans are unhappy and the season has been a car crash.
The only way to effect learner is with money, a complete stop to buying food, drinks and merch, that in turn will effect sponsorship and revenue meaning he may be willing to cut his losses and reduce the price of the club. The next step would be to boycott home games all together ESP season tickets but that comes back to you guys missing out on seeing your team play.
If it were me and my club, I would be talking about some spectacle to get the press and board talking. So incorporating the white flag idea and the 74 minutes (I don't know the significance of this but if it stands for something then keep it), inflate white balloons and start batting them towards the pitch. its cheap, they would be easy to get in the ground, lets say ten thousand people had 10 balloons each and on 74 minutes blew them up and stated having a party there would be 100,000 all round the ground, no one would get hurt, the game would have to be paused while they cleared them all, all the press would be talking about it and who has ever been told balloons are not allowed in the ground. Have fun while protesting.

Nearly right but it's actually a trick to keep enough fans in the ground to actually be able to affect a mass walkout.
If they all hold to form there won't be enough fans in the ground to do a 'mass' anything

Do Villa stop existing at the end of the season?
Ffs. Relegation is shiiit but it's not the end of the world.
At least they will have something meaningful to play for next year.

Heienberg - dead right. We might even have a good season in the Championship. IF the club gets its act together. IF.
We are where we are partly because of the state of the club over the last few years, but also because of the shambles last summer. It's not the signings; some of them are good enough. It's the total imbalance in the squad with critical holes in vital places. We need a constructive plan with the right signings to match. The manager has to be at the centre of it. If the club has learnt that we may well be OK. I think it's down to Hollis because I can't see Fox and Reilly changing their approach.

That is very true Heisenberg it is not the end of the world.
It may seem like it but just struggling to survive in a league that you cannot compete in is no fun. There are several others who fall in that category too, its all about the money really.
What we don't want is to end up trying to stay in the Championship

Villa seriously need near ownership. It's not rocket science why you've gradually got worse and worse. If you keep selling your best players and replacing them with youth players and frees, you're going to get worse. Serious investment needed and it's clear the current ownership aren't going to provide.
With that said, if I were you, I'd be doing the walkout and anything else which convinces the owners to cut their loses.
