Peterborough V Swindon

Posh, currently on a down, entertain a team currently on the up.

This is stop-the-rot time - difficult against a team who have high-scoring ex-Poshie Nicky Ajose in their ranks: and, Ajose will be wanting to make a point, upon his return to a club where he did not really shine.

I'm back in (temporary, if not permanent) employment, so hope to attend and give my vocal support to the Posh.

It would be great to turn the corner against Swindon, in what has the potential to be an entertaining game. The Posh attackers will need to re-discover their scoring boots, though, to secure a draw/win.

UTP!

Hi Thorney, I haven't been on here for a while as I'm travelling around Australia at the moment. Our games are usually open and entertaining, I seem to remember a 5-4 win for you a few years ago. We have improved in the last 8 or so games and Ajose is certainly delivering. But you are due a home win and I'd gladly take the draw. Enjoy the game.

Good to hear from you again, Don. Oz - Wow! A little warmer than these parts!

I'm hoping our players will re-discover their shooting boots. If they don't, your side should win.

I'm hoping our players will also re-discover their scoring boots, in which case it should be an entertaining, goal-filled game.

Oh dear TP .oblivion beckons, crowds back to 3-4k.
We now have a massive waiting list for tickets, with match tickets going for twice face value.
How are fortunes have changed.
Still you have your other team??

Well done, TF, for your team struggling to overcome Norwich at home in the penultimate minute

As for the game that mattered today (in front of 5K+ supporters), we put in a good first half display but failed to convert the four non-penalty chances we had in that half. We then failed to turn up in the second half until the second half of that half.

It didn't help that our more experienced players were missing and that the ref was rubbish (seven yellow cards issued for really only two yellow card offenses) and our second goal incorrectly disallowed.

A draw would have been a fairer result, but inevitably Ajose scored (a lovely goal from a free-kick).

We're lacking a goal-scorer - Maddison gets in the positions but his finishing is poor.

Good luck Liverpool tomorrow!
