After yet another defeat mid-week to Birmingham tomorrow will see the high flying men from Dingleshire visit the Macron.
I won't run over previously tread ground by making the comparison between how Burnley have been run over the last 5-6 years and how we have been run. It just makes me unhappy.
We have a good recent home record against Burnley, only one loss in the last 7 (W4, D2), however Burnley have won the last two meetings between the two sides, keeping clean sheets both times.
Should be interesting.
Team News
Gary Madine is back in Bolton's squad after being left out of the Birmingham match for disciplinary reasons, but goalkeeper Ben Amos (ankle) is out.
Paul Rachubka is set to deputise for Amos while Jay Spearing will have an injection on his toe in order to play.
Burnley will make a late assessment of the head injury defender Michael Keane suffered against Rotherham.
James Tarkowski, who replaced Keane against Nottingham Forest, would be the likely deputy alongside Ben Mee.
Predictions
Our home form has been distinctly better than our away form and needs to remain good if we stand any chance at all of pulling off the great escape.
2-1 Bolton, Clough opener.

Going for a 1-0 win and Madine the twit to score. No idea why, just feel optimistic

A blindly optimistic prediction which I'm sure I will regret. Surely something as bizarre as a shock win has to happen some day though.
