Or bad news?

FFS Arouna, I honestly cant remember ever hearing anything positive regarding the board coming from you.

Embrace it, it's happening. Whatever you type here isn't going to change it.

The fact that Billy is staying on must mean his imminent demise must have been exaggerated, which I think is more important than any takeover.

Happy he seems well enough to remain a part of the club.

He has blue blood pumping through his veins and maybe will help keep the heart of the club intact

That's for shares, that he would then own.

------
Who has he bought the shares off?

That's the unknown part.

The 49.9% look to be from The trio of Woods, Earl and Kenwright.

But nobody will know fully until it's rubber stamped by the PL

If some are from Kenwright, surely he's put some funds into the club in the form of an interest free loan.

It says in the Echo that Earl has relinquished his shares and kenwright and Woods have parted with some so Moshiri can become the majority shareholder.

Something iffy is bound to happen, the league will find out that Farhad has made his fortune from drug and human trafficking, and he'll fail the fit and proper person test.

Why would he do that? lots of stories on how he got the money to buy the shares he has. But if his £20m invested has increased to 1/3rd of £200m (£66m ish)then that's hardly a drop in the ocean of what's needed.

Will that money be better used to modernise Goodison which is really in need of better facilities.

A regeneration of Goodison rather than move to a new ground?

Surley that would be preferable.

But the council are not as willing to fix the infrastructure as they are if a major be to WHP was pushed through
