What side would you pick? With this new wave of youngsters coming through and making a mark, will the established players just slot back in? I don't really think we've had anyone at right back show more than Varela. It would also seem very harsh to drop Rashford right now, but who would you drop to put Martial in, let alone Rooney?
At the moment I think something like this, although I really would like to put Blind in midfield
------------De Gea------------
Varela Smalling Blind Shaw
-------Carrick----Herrera-----
---------------Mata--------------
Martial----Rashford----Depay
In the cold light of day, Rashford probably misses out to a more established player. But I'm sure as hell not taking him out today

Harsh on Lingard being dropped because Depay has 2 good games.

I have my reservations about Schniederlin's quality on the ball. I'd much rather see Blind in there. But at the moment he's playing well at the back. I think we need a new player in there unless Jones can stay fit or Rojo gets some form back

I agree. It's a tough call to make, but a good problem to have. Or it would be if anyone was fit

martial should be fit for the next game so lvg will indeed have that decision to make.
thankfully (very sad to say this) we don't have to worry about anyone being dropped to accommodate the captain yet.

Lingard may not impose himself on the game as strongly as Depay (recently) or Martial but he does have that wonderfull knack of popping up with a assist or goal ,even when he seems to be on the periphery. And whether he's in the first 11 or not it'll be best wise to keep such a player.

Lingard has 5 goals and 4 assists this season for us I think? Very productive player.

These are the players is used. Other than a few positions that are really hard to choose, the others really pick themselves. Neither BS or MS have been that convincing. Carrick may lack the energy of MS but better defensively and at reading the game. Can't play him and BS together. I think Herrera, though not great this season has been better than MS. Mata is a ten, given the pace around him and the space they will create for him, he could do his magic. Jones cannot be relied on stop should be a back up. Rojo always plays like he will make mistake.
I think we really need to spend the money on defence an upgrade on the RWF area and if we don't buy a striker, we have to rely on the young players such as Martial, Rashford and Wilson. That's a lot of responsibility for such young players.
We do need to get rid of some players such as Jones, Rojo, Fellaini, Valencia and Rooney (who may have a big influence but is also holding us back).

I have no idea how that happened.

I think LVG will line up with Lingard / Rashford / Memphis against Watford at home, and let the front 3 work the same as they have against Midgetland and Arsenal.
He will see need to rush Martial back into the starting 11 whilst these are high in confidence, and can introduce him from the bench and start at the weekend against West Brom away.
