I'd probably class it as doing something spontaneously. Example; if I'm driving home from work and as I pass my local I make a split second unplanned decision to swerve into the car park and have quick pint if class that as a cheeky one. If I'd been planning it all day, it's just a pint. So re the bet, wasn't planning on having a bet, someone on here flagged up the odds so I had a last minute flutter just before lunchtime kick off. But yeah it's a word that's been misappropriated in the modern world, like when people say 'obviously' before they tell you something only they could possibly know.

" cheeky" nandos is what really promoted the word worldwide and confused the f** out of Americans on social media the great thing is the British with our sense of humour and wit decided to play on it and confused the Americans even more with some hilarious explanations as to what it means. I'll try and post a particular one if I can find it. The Americans we're writing on social media " what's a cheeky nandos" and it kind of went from there.
