I hate to scapegoat a player but I liked the question that arseblog posed this morning. At the end of the day the question is not how sheit Walcott is.We all know that other than " I am gooner" and "Castor Troy" the question is why is Wenger having to pick Theo in the first place.I will come to that later but for Theo there is a stat that of the 17 touches he had for 60 minutes of football he lost the ball 10 times.
Now I'm surprised he even touched the ball 17 times but when the manager (wrongly) puts faith in you as he did against Chelsea at least run around, be busy, harass like welbeck did even though Welbecks touches were somewhat off. Just do the basics right Theo!!!
I think his time is up at arsenal and I'm sure he wont have any complaints.I would be happy to keep him as an impact sub if he is happy to stay but coming back to Wenger, when you consider that a striker of the caliber of Lewandoski virtually went to bayern unchallenged it makes me a bit angry.
Look no doubt Wenger has also made some smart choices like declining the likes of falcao, balotelli, remy but at the end of the day his reluctance to spend on a top striker has now embarassed him at the highest stage and people will look back at yesterdays game with fondness because it may just influence how Wenger conducts his business in the summer.
Lets also cut the manager some slack, there aren't many good strikers out there but buying a striker is not a matter of if we can find one, ITS NOT NEGOTIABLE ANYMORE.
I dont care anymore if we make a comical signing like Falcao like our rivals or even take a 58 million punt on a martial but we need to buy a top striker.
I still think yesterdays result will see us go on a good run but there might be a silver lining to the deficiencies shown by Theo and Ramsey, maybe just maybe the penny will drop with Wenger in possibly his final season and he will sign a top CM and striker.
Just maybe....
Theo James Walcott

It's complete nonsense to suggest there aren't any good forwards around, there is ALWAYS someone that can kick the ball into the goal. Always. Take Rashford as an example, unheard of last weekend and suddenly four goals in two games. If you can't find them it's not because they aren't there.
We could have bought Dzeko last summer to provide some depth. He might not be Aguero but he was still pretty decent at City (better than Bony that's for sure).

Only Pace -> directionless..always a threat but offers very little aka Theo, Ox, Gervhino, Lennon
Pace + Brains -> Deadly combination such a players like Reus, PEA, Sterling, Robben, Ribery, Bale and most top players
Pace + Brains + Heart(balls) -> Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo, Henry, Neymar Older Ronaldo,
Its never about pace but now you use it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pace is definitely not something I'd associate Suarez with.
He's no slouch but he isn't particularly quick at all. Not all good players are lightning fast.

He looks like Thierry Henry and Roger the alien's baby.

If we sold him. Who would buy him and at what price. 12 million to Liverpool. Snatch their hand off.

Walcott:
No shots on goal.
No chances created.
Beat 0 players.
6 passes completed.
17 touches of the ball in total.
Lost the ball 10 (TEN) times.
Enthusiastic clapping by him leaving the field after 63 minutes.
That's what you get for £140,000 a week - £23,333 for each short basic pass that a schoolboy could do and some free clapping...
