it pretty obvious we have missed him since his injury, ok we did well for the about 5-6 games without him. But now its really starting to show, we can't retain the ball, build up the play or sustain pressure for large periods of any game.
Im not going to start slate Ramsey (although he does deserve some for his general play), as i think they are different type of players and both have there own strengths and weakness.
The sooner we get Santi back, the soon we will be able to control the temp of the game, and hopefully we can get out challenge back on track.
Not giving up hope on the title yet, no excuse for the bad performance but we have a mid-week game to get our act together and build some much needed confidence before the derby.

Santi won't be able to get back to his playing best as soon as he comes back will he?
He will need time to settle in, CM position is very demanding you need to be sharp and physically fit..It will take a while for him to get into the flow the game and all that.
The current players needs to step up.

yes i can see him taking a game or 2 for him to get back to his level, but Santi has never been a player that has depend heavy on his pace or physicality lets just hope he finds his touch pretty quickly and can just dictate the game.
