So we have all had time to digest last nights result, performance etc.
I was going to post last night but after reading some of the a Spurs supporters on here I was too busy applauding them for winning the title last night....... What do you mean they didn't ????
Perhaps someone ought to tell some of their fans.
Anyway back to last nights game, as I had stated before I felt that the WBA game was going to be a real test of our resolve and teamwork. And honestly I am sat at my desk this morning extremely pleased with 90% of last night, except for not getting the 3 points ( yes I know that the points are the main thing but let's not get blinded that we played carp or didn't create etc).
I thought we started well but got suckered in by a great ball from Fletcher that caught Huth on the wrong side of his man and for once Huth got outmuscled. An error but he is only human.
Then we seemed to kick on and take control of the game through a lucky deflected goal and a great finish by AK from an assist of pure quality by Mahrez again.
Then they scored with a good free kick, still cannot decide if I am unhappy with KS or not!!
But we did enough to win, hitting the bar twice, Foster making 3-4 crucial saves etc. We created enough and showed we can play against a team that comes with a Pulis way of playing.
So let's ignore the people who are shouting " bottlers" after we DREW 😂😂 everyone is entitled to an opinion but we are Leicester City and thrive on proving people wrong this season. We are top of the league and there to be shot at, and I am loving it.
Finally let me finish with a word about my MOM.........
Take a bow Wes. He led by example last night and I for one think your rampaging right wing run run was a highlight for me. He was a rock at the back and then became a man possessed towards the end as we chased the winner.
We have a tough game away at Watford Saturday, let's push on and prove people wrong again. We didn't lose last night, we increased our lead by a point before tonight's games!!!!
Good luck to Spurs & Arsenal tonight, let's hope the drama carries on as it's going to be a cracking finale this season.

Still a long way to go and nobody should be getting their crystal ball out just yet. Leicester dropping 2 points has given Spurs a glimpse but who knows what will happen next. Expect a lot of twists and turns before the end. No easy games at this part of the season however it looks on paper.

Just the fact that we are all not dreaming and we are actually talking about Leicester being in a title race is just so bloody amazing, it's beyond belief really.
That's why all the Wumming in the world is like water off a ducks back to me, just to be where we are and be enough of a threat to other serious title contenders is good enough!
Thank You LCFC for another great season whatever happens from now until the end of it.

Feared the worse last night when wba scored first but I was very encouraged to see us create a few very good chances against a team we knew would test us in this area. So yeah, everything was positive but the final score.
Wba were tbf a lot more inventive than I was expecting
Does this result put an extra bit of pressure on spurs knowing top spot is up for grabs? I guess we'll see but I'll watch with interest

It's amazing really.
For the first time in months and month, the title is out of our hands. (Maybe for only 24 hours though)
Exciting

I was really pleased with last night's performance. In fact I think it was one of the best performances of the season.
we had the lion's share of the possession, played a lot of excellent inventive footie on the ground to try and find a way round their defensive man mountains, and were successful on many occasions.
We scored two, hit the bar twice and Foster pulled of several heroic saves. On another day we could easily have had 5 or 6. It wasn't a case of not knowing how to break down a team that came to defend because we created loads of chances but ultimately our finishing and some great goalkeeping kept the score down.
Yes we conceded two but FFS it was the first goals conceded at home since mid December so not too worried the flood gates will suddenly open. Huth was at fault for the first and the second was simply sheer quality by Gardner with a worldie of a free kick.
Desperately disappointed not to get the win but very encouraged by the performance. If we play that way for the rest of the season we will have every chance. If we play like we did against Norwich then we will have no chance.
Hats off to WBA as well. They made it difficult from start to finish and their defenders were immense.
