Really? Seeing the posts of Pulisaurus, Baggieman and latterly JH I am astounded that you remain so eager to rid us of Pulis. You maybe think we are established in this league or there s a ready supply of managers who "guarantee premier league" presence year in, year out.
Just look where we have come from:
2002/3 won 6, points 26 relegated
2004/5 won 6, points 34 last day escape
2005/6 won 7, points 30 relegated
2008/9 won 8, points 32 relegated
2014/15 pre- Pulis won 5 of 21 points 17 on way to relegation under Irvine.
Get real guys. If we don't want him, there will be a queue in spite of the football. We will always be looking over our shoulder in this division. It is dead easy to get relegated.
I don't even accept the boring football nonsense. We have had poor performances but there isn't a team in this division that has not.
Pulis Out?

Not gonna argue with that.

Thought you guys played well yesterday and was impressed with your 1st half performance against Palace, but how much further can he take you? Your team is quite old I think one of the commentators last night mentioned your 2 centre backs had a combined age of 70-years-old!

That's true Your Home. They are old but they are performing minor miracles most weeks. You ask how far can he take us? Well if he can keep us in this division and give us the odd cup run, that'll do - we don't want much.

Al, a lot of what you're saying I totally agree with. However, it's all very well and good coming on here and saying this when we've just had two or three decent performances when prior to that we had about 10 poor ones.
How many goal scoring opportunities have we created this season? How many shots on goal have we created? How many goals have we scored from open play? These are the things that matter to me. I want the players to get me out of my seat (or as JH would have it, armchair).

I have been saying it consistently and you know it.
How many goal scoring opportunities - enough. How many shots from open play - who cares? How many shots on goal - enough. We are doing fine.

Your honour, also worth noting Evans is out injured when's back the age will drop slightly and McAuley hasa body age 5 years his junior due to his later start according to our medical team who are pretty good.
I've always stuck by Pulis and will continue to do so, I'lol judge him come next season when he's had 4 full transfer window na to shape the squad how he wants. We were such a mess of a club top to bottom when he came that I think it's only fair he's given a fair amount of time, I mean our squad wasn't much better than the Villa's!!
If results and performances aren't improving next season mind, then I'd genuinely start considering it, as of now and the summer I think it's too soon and completely unfair given the squad, lack of spending (in relation to the teams we're competing with) and the upheaval behind the scenes he inherited from Messrs Irvine, Mel (not his fault either), Clarke, McDoughnut and Garlic.

How many goal scoring opportunities - not enough for me. How many shots from open play - I care. How many shots on goal - not enough for me. We may have a decent points haul but that's not what I follow my team for.
Do you really think it's acceptable for us to park the bus when we're at home to the likes of Swansea, etc?
The difference between you and I is that you're happy for us to stay in the Premier League at the expense of good football whereas I could accept getting relegated if we played football that didn't have me slipping into a coma before half time.
You're welcome to your view and i'm welcome to mine!

Alouion, are you stark, staring raving bonkers ?
Sitting watching the carp Pulis serves up in the vast majority of games is an offence against Trades Descriptions. I pay good money to watch football and what I inevitably see ain't football.
There are the odd few games where we are expansive but those are rare. How you can defend the twart after games like against Vile, Peterborough, Reading is beyond even the Baggieman. Leopards don't change their spots Al.....

I guess I must be Baggieman. I am in good company though because there are loads who think like me. I'm not going to excuse some of the poor performances to which you allude. However this guy knows what he is doing and hopefully will do it for some time to come.
So get used to it!
