I would sign Beattie - exactly what we need at this level.

I would go for him dependent on wages, i think he could do a decent job at this level

1 in 3 at southampton, 1 in 2 sheff utd, if he could rediscover that form he would be useful, but may be past it after failing at stoke and in the muppet league with rangers, though not given much playing time there.

He also causes trouble in the dressingroom, something the manager wouldn't put up with (no manager should)

can he play Left Back? Thats where we need a new player..
BTW Jorvik did you go to the York v Alfreton match....1st win of the season and I´m in Portugal and missed it.

Couldnt get a game in the beer belly league so not much hope for him here.

No Griff, decieded against going, (heavy weekend!) but one of the lads I work with is a big York supporter, he said Alfreton deserved their win
