Italian football is a joke as far as transfers are concerned. They demand top dollar if you want to buy a player from them but will only offer peanuts if they want to buy a player from you.
They will even sell a player for top dollar who instantly turns out to be sh!t for your team so they offer to loan him back so long as you pay his wages AND then he walks after his contract expires and returns to them for free.
It's as though the whole of Italian football is run like a particular family concern
