Don't blame him. A pillock of reporter kept on trying to press him for an answer which he'd already dealt with, so Garde calmly terminates the conference. Not "storming out" as the Mirror would have it. Here's the ITV video:

Garde's last 8 matches are W2 D2 L4. 8 points, a point a game. Sunderland have 9, Newcastle 7 and Norwich 1. "Statistically barely better than Sherwood"? Come on, Paddy. Sherwood was present at last summer's signings and had a full pre-season. Garde came into a mess with a poor squad which he didn't know, and wasn't supported by the board in January. What do you expect?

To be fair surely you don't think that Garde is the real issue at Villa, he walked in at the end, he hasn't been there throughout, harsh to blame him in my opinion. Some of the senior players need to take a long look at themselves for the performances...

I dont blame him at all I'm surprised he hasn't walked away completely.

Agreed, a load about nothing, if you want to see a proper ding dong with a journalist check our MaClaren at Newcastle's rant!

Journalists who ask such questions actually get their answers when a manager walks out of a Press conference. I'm not saying Garde has been explicitly lied to, but he's clearly been let down, e.g. in the January transfer window. Managers simply aren't going to risk answering certain questions truthfully, and they're not going to lie either, so all they can do is say 'No comment' and ask for a different question, and if there aren't any more questions he can terminate the interview.
You can't blame journalists either for asking these questions. They want to know what's happening at the club, and apart from interviewing the chairman and other executives, the manager is fair game.
