We are still having a great season.

Evening lads hope you are all well.

Well its been a disappointing week to say the least, losing to West Ham and drawing from a winning position against Arsenal. Before those two games we had won 6 in a row and now the last two games have merited just one point.
Leicester have just got a very important win against Watford and are now 5 ahead and Man city and West ham both won today to close the gap on us.

However to the title of my article, lets all remind ourselves of the wonderful season we are having. To be second in the league whilst competing in the energy sapping Europa league is a remarkable achievement.

Leicester have barely played any other games apart from the premier league, although i must admit they have been a revelation this season and if we don't win the league i would much rather they do than Arsenal or City.

We still have the best defensive record in the league, we have an incredible unity in our squad where they all give everything to the cause.
We are young, super fit and well drilled and play some really exciting football at times. We press our opponent's like no other team in the premier league and have come back from losing positions in games more than any other side. Attacking wise only City and Leicester have scored more goals than us.
We have one of the best young coaches in the game admired by many and what he has given us is that so important unity between the fans and players.

Yes we may fall just short and not win the league or the Europa but when was the last time we are in this position to be competing for both with a quarter of the season left?
We have a minimum of 11 games left where we could just finish with a pot of gold and we have so much to look forward to and a team to be proud of.

Our main objective is to get in the champions league again, we are almost there. Once we get there anything else is a bonus.

We are building something special here.

I would not want to give up on the League title.
true Leicester have only League games while we have the Europa cup against Dortmund - no mean team.
Ranieri is always playing mind games in the media interviews. Poch is way to honest with his interviews.
We'll see, wont we lads.

Good article OP. Although Leicester fans are already celebrating winning the Prem, so perhaps Spurs should concentrate on the Europa.

Haha not where you've seen that Sandy. Celebrating ...yes of course who could blame us, truly amazing season so far, but nothing is won yet...far from it ..a long way to go yet. We will all drop points in the next 9 games. Going to be a roller coaster ride. Sit back and enjoy

Agree with a lot of that, but completely disagree about Leicester being a "revelation". Watching a team sit loads of players deep, forsaking possession and hit the long ball over the top to the quick striker isn't what I'd say is worthy of potential champions, therefore I'd rather anyone but them won it.

Seriously can't be facked with the Europa league, just don't have the passion for it, and wouldn't be that bothered if Dortmund eliminated us.

Ho can you say that Ledleys?

How would you want Spurs to lose any game or to be eliminated out of any competition is beyond me.

I don't know how old you are or how long you have supported Spurs but winning any European competition is an amazing achievement.

You also don't like the way Leicester play and i agree but theres one word to describe Leicester and it is "Revelation"

I can say that because the league title is more important to me than the Europa league, and I wouldn't want anything to hinder our chances. Whilst there's no absolute guarantee that we'd win the league by being eliminated, it's certain that we'd have more time to recuperate from games and prepare for the next one.

Since you asked, I'm 32 so I was about 4 months old when we won the UEFA cup. The league is the proof that you are the best team in the division, and I want to taste that glory at least once in my lifetime.

There is more than one word to describe Leicester, "dull" being another one I can think of.

You haven't seen much of us this season if you think that's all we have in our locker naive but regardless I'll take being top of the table after 29 games and 5 points clear of 2nd and only 3 defeats in the league Not too shoddy eh after battling relegation last year.
Think we may still fall short of the title as Spurs look good, but incredible to think we may be
Laying Champions league football next season.
Good luck chaps
