Not sure how I feel about Dembele.
He has had an amazing season and is one of our most important players in my opinion. I believe you can really tell when he isn't starting in the middle, there have been countless games this season that he has bossed.
However, at the same time I believe he's still the one player we have who isn't fully invested in Poch's philosophy. He doesn't seem to work quite as hard as other players and switches off defensively every now and then.
I might be talking utter bull here so if you all disagree feel free to let me know I'm wrong, just something I have personally noticed.

Moussa has always been a laid back player, he is never going to chase and harass opponents like Lamela and Alli can and play at 100 miles an hour but he has certainly improved this part of his game under Pochetinno.
He is certainly leaner and fitter this year.
He dosent always go with runners which has left us exposed at times this season but the way he takes care of the ball when he is in possession is unrivalled in my opinion.
He just swats other players off, drops a shoulder and glides with the ball.
He certainly has one or two flaws in his game and as you have said he has been excellent this season and we look a much better outfit when he is playing.

Not sure what you want from players, Dembele gives us more midfield control when he is in the team.
Rarely flustered, his ability on the ball allied to great strength in holding off opposing players makes him one of the top midfielders in Europe

I'm probably Dembele's biggest critic on here, but he's been good this season. His strength and his speed are an asset in there as he helps break up the play, and is then able to use his footwork to manoeuvre out of tight spaces before passing the ball onto someone else.
He's not the exact type of player I want in there, but he's easily better than Mason, Bentaleb and Carroll.

We all know Dembeles ability but the major thing he gives us is control in midfield. I dont mean of the ball that goes without saying but he has the ability to control the tempo of the game and IMO is a major loss when he is injured.
