'Fraid the OP kinda as a point.

The past few weeks have seen a very poor united squad: beat a championship level Danish side (after first losing to them); struggle to beat Watford; be marginally less shambolic than an awful AFC side; and, let's not forget, rise up to beat mighty Shrewsbury. All of this was followed by sooooo much garbage about the yoof members of the team from posters on this board that it was, quite frankly, painfully embarrassing to witness. Made me despair for my hopes for humanity to be honest.

That starting line-up today was by far the weakest I have ever, EVER, seen in over 40 years as a fan/supporter - in a game that mattered that is. Just an appalling statee for this club to be in.

Only Carrick, Darmian, Mata (who was stupid today) and Smalling are fit to wear the shirt. And, of the rest, only Blind is acceptable.

Martial and/or Rashford may, or may not, be good enough in the future. But, at the moment they are not. Rojo is squad player, and the rest are just too weak for words - especially Lingard and Herrera.

MUFC got what they deserved with that staring line-up and have gotten what they deserve for continuing with the likes of the latter two reprobates.

I have not really expressed any discord with LvG so far. However, surely, surely, he can see that they are not EPL quality players. If he can't and he continues to select them then he will lose more games than I care to imagine. He has had enough time to see what works in this league and what doesn't.

Please, please LvG stop listening to the ill-founded hyperbole, stop this nonsense of new being great. Age should have nothing to do selection (at either end of the spectrum) but ability to do the job does.

Whilst this is a WUM thread, he has a point. It is hard to keep up with some on here. 1 week it's, I want him out but don't want Giggs or Jose, that's it's, if we get 4th and 2 cups he can stay, now it's we have all wanted him out since xmas. Joke.
