It makes more sense the older you get as you can have a tangible example from your own experience.

Like when I was a kid I could get a mars bar for around 20p, it's now around a pound (I'm Irish but using pounds as an example)

I don't really see why Barca would want him, they don't usually spend on one season wonders and I'm not overly convinced by his actual ability due to how poor the league he plays in just now is.

Eejit, value of money decreases with inflationary impact.
Hence why you need more of it to buy the same stuff you might have done years ago.

Leicester City i doubt would even think about letting Mahrez talk to anyone, at this moment, for less than £30 million.
If he carries on his form i can see his value increasing £500k every couple of games.
