So, the other week, neither our cup replay nor the Edinburgh derby could be televised as they clashed with the Champions League.
Tonight the Hull v Arsenal replay is on TV despite the Champions League being on. Unless I'm missing something really obvious, is this genuinely one rule for the big teams and another for the rest?
Can anyone enlighten me?

Oops, thanks. I'd even checked (or so I thought) as I didn't imagine I was the only one questioning it.

Apparently the FA will be fined for this.
It's happened previously and they have had a fine of £1m before. They're loaded though so don't care.

UEFA give money to the member associations not to show games live on tv whilst the CL is being played, if association members show games live money will be deducted in way of a fine, therefore to show matches costs the sfa money which in turn costs the clubs
